Paper Pumpkin November 2017 Kit & Alternative Projects!

How fun is the November 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit? You get enough supplies to create 10 of those super-adorable stockings! Here's a close-up of what the stockings look like if assembled like the kit:

And you just know I created alternative projects don't you?

This month I only had time to add a few Alternative Projects. My hubby is home recuperating from knee replacement surgery and I'm a tad bit busy playing nurse right now. Here are the projects I created:

Did you know that the Stampin' Blends markers are PERFECT for adding color to the cuff of the stocking? On this baby bootie stocking, I colored the cuff with the lightest color of the Daffodil Stampin' Blends. I also colored one of the white banners with the marker:

For stocking #2, I colored the cuff by sponging Powder Pink Ink on the cuff and then stamping snowflakes on the tag with the same ink pad to coordinate:

My 3rd stocking uses some of the die-cut leaves and I also added a few Whisper White leaves cut with the Leaf Punch. I hand-cut one of the snowflakes from the banner and glued it in place with a Stampin' Dimensional:

I created a little horse stocking as my last project and I show you how in my new video that you can watch below!

Foxy Thank You Treat Holder!

My Fall Session of Adult Education Classes ended last week and I made each of the girls a little something to say thank you for attending my classes:

These treat holders would be perfect for those of you that create projects for Craft Fairs. Here's a close-up:

And this is what the inside looks like when the bow ribbon is untied:

The Fox Builder Punch and Foxy Friends stamp set made the layers quick and easy to mass-produce. How could one not fall in love with this cute face:

And I used the Pretty Label Punch to cut out the sentiment:

The measurements I used to create the treat holder are Early Espresso Cardstock 4" x 4-1/2". Score at 2" & 2-1/2" on the 4-1/2" side. Once the cardstock was folded on the score lines, I added a small piece of Tear & Tape on the inside to glue the mini chocolate bar to. The ribbon I used is retired and can be substituted with any ribbon. I glued it front to back using Tear & Tape, leaving enough on each end to tie into a bow.

Here are the Stampin' Up! products I used:

Merry Monday Challenge #266!

Welcome to the Merry Monday Challenge. This week our team hostess is Sue and she has chosen a theme of adding Santa to our cards. Here's my card for this week:

I used my Stampin' Blends to color the Santa image and I glued Santa to the front of my coffee cup. I also layered two more coffee cups under the first one. A few little embellishments I added are a die-cut snowflake, some stamped coffee beans and a few small tags hanging from the coffee cups:

I'm sure all of you own something with a Santa image so you can come play along with us this week. I would love to see your card added to our gallery of creations! Have a good week and thanks so much for visiting me today!
