Paper Pumpkin May 2017 Alternative Projects!

I had a blast coming up with new alternative ideas for the May 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit. I was able to use most of what was in my kit and have only a few left-over pieces. Here is a photo of everything that I created.....not like the kit:

Close-up of each card:

If you are a current Paper Pumpkin Subscriber, did you notice a new look to our Paper Pumpkin logo? Fresh, clean and beautiful isn't it?

And have you received and opened your May 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit yet? I love it! Who would have thunk.....round cards....and in the shape of donuts...yummm! This is a long post but so worth it. Keep reading!

Here's a video showing you the contents of the kit:

And these are the three cards I made by following the instructions from the kit:

And of course I've created A Sneak Peek Alternative Project just to show you what I send my subscribers each month. This is just one sample of the many I have created. All of the supplies I used for this card are from the kit except for one sheet of Powder Pink Cardstock for the card base:

Isn't my punch art mouse totally adorable?

And the holes in the "cheese" were made with the 1/2" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch and a 1/4" handheld punch:

I have a FREE project sheet for you to download and print so you can create the same card I have. Enjoy!

And I have even MORE! I created a video showing you how to assemble the 3 cards AND I've included a 2nd Sneak Peek Alternative project. Watch here:

Thailand Achievers May Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for May 2017. This month our theme is the "2017/2018 Annual Catalog Sneak Peek". As demonstrators we were able to order a select list of new products that will be available to customers on June 1st and that's what we are all showing you today!

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog Debbie Henderson at Debbie's Designs, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup at the bottom of my post will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

For today's project I am using the Tranquil Tulips stamp set which is a Hostess set:

Two weeks ago I found out one of my customers found a lump in her breast and after a biopsy, was told it was cancerous. She is actually having surgery this week. This was the card I made for her to let her know I was thinking of her.

This stamp set is a two-step stamping set. If you look closely at the tulips, you'll see two layers of the same ink color:

I added lots of tulips, leaves, stems and flowers to my stamped layer and then added the sentiment in Basic Black Ink from the Here For You stamp set. To finish off my card, I added a few Rhinestone Jewels for bling!

Thanks for visiting me today and viewing our blog hop. There are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss so please visit all of the participants for this month. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Debbie Henderson, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

A Little Wood Crate For My Cards!

Only ONE MORE WEEK before our new 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog goes live! I bet you can't wait. If you are a customer of mine, you should have received your new catalog in the mail. Please contact me if you haven't.

The moment I was able to view the new catalog as a demonstrator, the new Wood Crate Framlits Dies was on my list of favorites. Just look at how C-U-T-E this is!

And how about the new Wood Textures Designer Paper? How perfect for the crate right? The crate is perfect to hold 3" x 3" mini cards. I made 5 of them using the new 2017-2018 In Colors. First take a close-up peek of the front of the crate:

The Wood Words stamp set coordinates with the crate die and you'll be able to purchase both items as a bundle and save 10%. Craft Fair people, wouldn't this make great Craft Fair items to sell? This is what my crate looks like from a side view. I haven't added mini envelopes yet. You can see there's plenty of room to add them in:

Here are the individual In Color Mini Cards!
Tranquil Tide In Color,
Rhinestone Jewels:

Lemon Lime Twist In Color,
Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies,
Pearl Jewels:

Powder Pink In Color,
Classic Label Punch:

Fresh Fig In Color
Pretty Label Punch,
White Baker's Twine:

and Berry Burst In Color:

Have I convinced you that you NEED this Wood Words Bundle? There are so many more ideas in my head. Where to start? Make sure you visit my Online Store on June 1st so you can place your order. I am close to earning the 2018 Alaska Incentive trip and your order will help me earn it!

Please come back to visit tonight as I participate in the Thailand Achievers Blog Hop at 5 pm Eastern Time!

Merry Monday Challenge #249!

Welcome to a brand new week at Merry Monday where we create Christmas cards all year-round! What a great way to add to your Christmas card stash so that there won't be any stressing in December!

Colleen is our hostess this week and she is asking that we add a mistletoe to our cards:

I decided to go a different route and add a mistletoe to my ornament. It was quite easy to cut out the ornament shape, stamp on it and color in the image. I also used a Blender Pen to add a tiny bit of shading to the edges of the ornament:

I glued the ornament in place using Stampin' Dimensionals to add a little bit of height over the dry embossed cardstock layer:

I'm anxious to see what you come up with this week for our challenge. Don't forget to visit my teammates at Merry Monday this week!

Remarkably Creative May Blog Hop!

Welcome to the May Remarkably Creative Blog Hop. I'm so glad you stopped in to visit! This month we are all using "something new" from the upcoming 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. If you are starting the hop with my blog, I'll direct you to the next blog with a listing at the end of my post! Enjoy!

One of the first items on my demonstrator pre-order was the Daisy Punch, the Daisy Delight stamp set, the coordinating Delightful Daisy Designer Paper, Glitter Enamel Dots and the 1/4" Copper Trim. Wow, these products are fabulous!
Take a peek at my card:

The little background grunge you see stamped on my Whisper White Cardstock layer is actually a mini flower cluster image to use with some stems that come in the stamp set. I stamped three times without re-inking in each cluster. I thought the image was perfect to add color to my background. Do you think so too?

The daisies are all stamped with Tranquil Tide Ink and I carefully pounced the color on the inside of each flower petal with a So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker. I didn't want to drag the Tranquil Tide Ink to make it messy so pouncing alleviated that issue! I hope you enjoy my project today and make sure you visit all of my blog hop teammates for so much more inspiration!
